Description
Summary of Story:
Riley decides to enter the school science fair after hearing that the prize is a brand-new bike, something she’s wanted for a long time since her family can’t afford one. As she thinks about project ideas, she also helps plant a new garden for her neighbor. As she is doing this, she discovers something in the dirt and digs it up. When she can’t figure out what it is, she realizes it would be perfect for a science project. Is it alien? Is it animal? Does she win first place and get a new bike? This is an engaging story students will relate to and be engaged by.
